Apina Hrbek was born in 1947 in Prague, a capital city of what is now Czech Republic. In 1981 she and her family escaped Communist oppression and immigrated to United States. She has two grown children and lives with her husband on Long Island, NY.
"Pandemonium – A Journey to the New World" is
her first book. It is based on her personal experiences. She is currently
working on
